Design Future London Challenge

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Four pupils from years 5 & 6 have achieved the remarkable feat of being finalists in the prestigious Design Future London Challenge. Their innovative ideas and creative talent have truly shone through in this competition.

The competition, which attracted submissions from talented young designers across the city, recognised our Team Green [Mathias, Tyler, Sienna and Annie]'s exceptional skills and contributions towards shaping the future of our Ickenham Village. Since November, the four pupils have worked very hard during lunchtimes to design, plan and create their vision for Ickenham Village.

To enter the competition, they created their design on Minecraft, recorded a short video and created a PowerPoint presentation explaining their ideas and perspectives on envisioning future for London. This accomplishment of reaching the final speaks volumes about the team's dedication, creativity, and perseverance. They have not only made us proud but also distinguished themselves among their peers in the field of design.

Entries are judged by judges and also the public. On Friday 8th March, the winners chosen by the judges will be announced at a ceremony. There is also a public vote, which is currently active on their website. We would appreciate if you could show us support by voting for our entry in the 5-11 category (Entry three - Team Green).
