Supporting Military Families

We understand that military life can involve regular moves, short-notice postings, deployment, and periods of separation. Our school is committed to welcoming military families and helping every child settle, feel included and do well from the start.

If you are a military family planning a move to Hillingdon, please contact our school office for advice and support. We are here to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Service Pupil Premium

The Service Pupil Premium (SPP) is funding provided to schools in recognition of the unique challenges that children from Armed Forces families can face, including moving schools due to postings, periods of family separation, and a parent being deployed away from home. Schools use this funding mainly to provide pastoral support, helping your child settle in, build resilience, and feel supported during times that can be unsettling. Your child will qualify whether your partner is currently serving, has served within the last six years, or has sadly passed away while in service.

More information can be found here: Service pupil premium - GOV.UK

Armed Force Covenant

The Armed Forces Covenant focuses on helping members of the Armed Forces community have equal access to Government, commercial services and products as any other local citizen.

More information can be found here: About the Covenant - Armed Forces Covenant

Staying in Touch

We encourage families to keep us informed about planned moves, deployments, and any changes that may affect your child’s school life. The more we know, the better we can support your child and make sure they have a positive start.
