Please note that due to COVID-19 there was no data set in the Summer of 2020 apart from phonics. The data below and in relevant links refers to the data set from the Summer of 2019. The Government will not publish KS2 School Level Data for 2021 to 2022 academic year.  They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

What does the data tell us?

The headlines for 2018-2019 maintains the positive trend.  The school continues to have a strong academic profile and children achieve well.

2018 - 2019:

  • Phonics achievement is above national average. Pupils that do not achieved the expected standard in Year 1, re-take the test in Year 2 where results continue to be above the national average.  Pupils, whose hearing impairment affects their phonic understanding, will have additional programmes to support reading.
  • KS 1 attainment at the expected standard and greater depth is above average for reading, writing and maths. The combined score (children who achieve the expected standard in all 3 areas) is above national average.

  • KS2 attainment at the expected standard and greater depth is above average for reading, writing and maths. The combined score (children who achieve the expected standard in all 3 areas) is above national average.
